Tornado move up, take 13th at Battle at Hilton Head

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's golf team moved up the leaderboard at Battle for Hilton Head Island to finish 13th after Tuesday's final round. The Tornado were led by Roxane Nataf who finished 21st.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Nataf finished with a stroke total of 156 following her second round of 79.
  • Sasha Gardiner followed a round of 86 by carding 77 to finish at 163.
  • Also improving was Autumn Bergendahl who finished with a round of 83 and stroke total of 169.
  • Shelby Zeiter carded a 90 in the final round to finish at 172.
  • Rounding out the team was Morgan Powers who improved on a 93 in the opening round to shoot 83 in the final round for a total of 176.

FOR THE FOES

  • Florida Tech won the tournament with a score of 596 while Anderson University finished second at 609.
  • Lucy Eaton of Florida Tech won the tournament with a score of 145, finishing one stroke ahead of her teammate Lauren Watson
