King places 12th in Coker Women's Invitational

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The King University women's golf team finished the Coker Spring Invitational with a second round score of 334, finishing the tournament with a score of 680. The Tornado ended in 12th out of 14 and were led by Shelby Zeiter and Roxane Nataf.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Nataf finished the tournament with a score of 161 after shooting 79 on day two giving her a tie for 27th place.
  • Zeiter followed, carding 89 and Sasha Gardiner shot 88 to give them a total of 171 and 172 respectively.
  • Autumn Bergendahl shot an 88 again in day two giving her a total of 76
  • Morgan Powers rounded out the team with a round of 93.

FOR THE FOES

  • Anderson University won the tournament with a score of 616 while Coker College took second at 619.
  • Anderson's Tiffany Elam won the tournament with a score of 146. Alyssa Campbell of Coker took second shooting three above par at with a score of 147.
