Nataf wins Agnes McAmis Memorial, King takes 4th

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – Roxane Nataf capped the final tune-up before the Conference Carolinas Championship with her first career victory. She won the Agnes McAmis Memorial with a tournament score of two-over par, leading the King University women's golf team to a fourth place finish.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Nataf finished the tournament with a round of two-over 73 to win the tournament by two strokes.
  • Sasha Gardiner and Morgan Powers finished 18th with tournament totals of 166. Gardiner shot 82 in the second round while Powers carded an 84.
  • Shelby Zeiter finished the tournament with a round of 82, finishing with a total of 173.
  • Autumn Bergendahl rounded out the team with a score of 91, giving her a tournament total of 177.

FOR THE FOES

  • Tusculum University and Catawba College finished tied for first with tournament scores of 618. Tusculum shot 306 in the second round while Catawba carded a 309.

  • The Tornado are in action again on April 7-9 at the Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Championship. The tournament will be held at the Cateechee Golf Club in Royston, Ga.
