Seay moves up, King receives votes in NWCA Poll

BRISTOL, Tenn. – In the final NWCA rankings of the regular season, the King University men's wrestling team continues to receive votes in the poll. Elijah Seay moved up in the rankings at 197 pounds.

The Tornado ended the dual season 6-4 and 3-3 in South Atlantic Conference Carolinas competition and received seven votes in the poll. King is one of three South Atlantic Conference Carolinas member schools mentioned in the rankings. Newberry College is ranked 23rd while Limestone College received three votes.

Seay moved up one spot in the rankings at 197 pounds to seventh. He is 15-3 on the season with four technical falls and five pins. Seay has won nine straight matches, including all of his matches this semester. His last defeat came at the Midwest Classic in December.

King is in action on Friday at the NCAA Division II Super Region II Championships.
