MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The King University women's tennis team stayed on the road to play Mount Olive University on Sunday. The Tornado fell behind early in doubles, falling to the Trojans 9-0 overall.

  • Mount Olive was up 3-0 after the doubles matches concluded with an 8-6 and 8-5 scores at the first and second flight.
  • Haley Maloney took Nicole La Chappelle three sets with scores of 6-4, 6-2, and 10-6 at No. 5 singles.
  • The Trojans won all six singles matches.


  • King next play when they host Bluefield State College on Friday at 3:00 p.m.
  • Mount Olive stays at home to play Barton College on Tuesday.
