SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The King University women's tennis team dropped a Conference Carolinas dual at Converse College on Tuesday afternoon. The Valkyries took the doubles point with three wins, and that continued in singles as Converse won the dual 7-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Converse took the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles matches 6-0 before taking the No. 2 doubles match 6-1 to take the doubles point.
  • Morgan Buchanan nearly forced a third set at No. 6 singles against Marth Quattlebaum, falling 6-1, 7-5.
  • Vanessa Francois fell to Pauline Hagen 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Murphy Harr dropped a 6-2, 6-1 match to Taylor Parrott at No. 5 singles.
