BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's tennis team dropped a nonconference dual to Lincoln Memorial University 7-0 on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Railsplitters won all three doubles matches to take the doubles point.
  • The Tornado No. 3 doubles team of Anna Mincey and Morgan Buchanan fell to Samantha Hogan and Kristin Vogel 6-2.
  • In singles play, the Railsplitters continued to play well, winning all six matches.
  • Lauren Smorgonsky fell to Julia Valls at the top flight 6-0, 6-1 while Marilyn Roustand fell 6-0, 6-1 to Johanna Delisse at the second flight.
