JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The King University women's track and field team opened their indoor season at the ETSU Track & Field Invitational over the weekend. Hannah Kusmierz led the Tornado with her time of 11:36.26 in the 3000 meter event.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kusmierz led the way for the Tornado with her 23rd place finish in the 3000 meter event as she posted a time of 11:36.26.
- In the 200 meter, Neyasha Honorable recorded a time of 27.13 to finish 47th. She also competed in the 400 meter where she posted a time of 1:02.38.
- In the shot put, Mari Mendoza took 34th place with her distance of 9.90 meters. Alyssa Thomas threw a distance of 9.73 meters in the shot put to place 38th.
- The Tornado are in action again on January 20 at the Appalachian Open in Boone, N.C.
