BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's track and field team competed at the Charlotte 49er Classic Saturday afternoon. The Tornado raced well and were led by Hannah Kusmierz in the 3,000 meter event.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kusmierz led the way for the Tornado posting a time of 11:03.54 in the 3,000 meter race to finish 31st overall.
- Neyasha Honorable set a personal record in the 200 meter event with a time of 25.94. She also recorded a time of 59.96 in the 400 meter race.
- Kaitlin Rivera posted a time of 5:21.06 in the 1,500 meter event. Abbi Pierce was right behind her in the race with her time of 5:21.57.
- King is back in action March 30 when they travel to Spartanburg, South Carolina to compete in the Terrier Relays.
