Lady Tornado Volleyball maintain spots among NCAA's best

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - King College once again posted three individual Top-50 NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball rankings with three in the Top-50 team rankings, the national office released.

Kaitlyn Musick (Weber City, Va.) climbed to No. 4 nationally in hitting percentage. Her .426 percentage put her there. She climbed up three spots even though the percentage went down. Kelsey Griffitts (Bristol, Va.) ranked No. 24 this week with a .373 hitting percentage. Both were behind California State San Bernardino's Samantha Middleborn with a .485 hitting percentage.

Shannon Earwood (Carson City, Nev.) moved up a spot to No. 44 in the assists per set category. Her average was at 9.96, up slightly from a 9.92.

King's hitting percentage of .267 kept the squad at No. 18. The Lady Tornado's .818 winning percentage ranked 23rd, down a spot while King had the same ranking in aces per set with 2.16.

The Lady Tornado, now at 18-5, travels to play Montreat (N.C.) College Thursday at 6:30 p.m. before the Pacer Volleyball Invitational Friday and Saturday.
