TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The King University women's volleyball team continued their roll on Saturday with a pair of wins at the North Greenville University Triangular. The Tornado topped the Crusaders 3-0 in a Conference Carolinas match to start the day before defeating Clark Atlanta University 3-1 in the nightcap.

The Tornado offense came out on fire in the first set against North Greenville (2-11, 1-4 CC) as they only made two attack errors on 29 attempts while registering 11 kills. King took the first set 25-17 behind a .310 attack percentage.

King cooled down slightly over the final two sets, but still ended the match attack percentage of .266. The Tornado took the final two set 25-19 and 25-23 to move to 4-0 in Conference Carolinas play.

Summer Kremer led King with a blistering .389 attack percentage, posting a team-high 16 kills on 36 attempts while committing just two errors. Olivia Underwood dished out 25 assists while Payton Tipton anchored the defense with 16 digs.

In the nightcap against Clark Atlanta (8-2) the Tornado got off to a slow start as they dropped the first set 25-23. However, the Tornado (13-3) responded with an attack percentage of .378 with 18 kills in the second set. King evened the match with the 26-24 second-set win.

The Tornado offense stayed hot in the third set, hitting .368 in the 25-14 win, and King finished off the win with a 25-19 fourth set win. With the victory, the Tornado extended their winning streak to 12 matches.

Kremer led the Tornado with 16 kills on 35 attempts with just one error for an attack percentage of .429. Grace Underwood and Kelsey Griffitts chipped in with eight kills apiece. Tipton and Maribeth Kern both reached double figures digs with 18 and 12, respectively. Olivia Underwood dished out 37 assists.

King will be in action again on Tuesday when they travel to Pfeiffer University for a Conference Carolinas matchup. First serve from Misenheimer, N.C., is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
