Lady Tornado handed 3-0 setback at LMU

HARROGATE, Tenn. - The King College women's volleyball squad came up short at Lincoln Memorial (Tenn.) University Friday by a 3-0 count.

King, now at 22-8, saw set scores of 25-18, 25-23 and 25-17 go to Lincoln Memorial (Tenn.) University, with a 19-5 record after the contest.

Morgan Machen (Kingsport, Tenn.) provided a team-high 14 kills for King. Shannon Earwood (Carson City, Nev.) had 30 assists. Natalie Brown (Brentwood, Tenn.) had 14 digs to lead the Lady Tornado.

King welcomes Concord (W.Va.) University and Milligan (Tenn.) College to Bristol on Tuesday for volleyball action. King and Concord will tangle at 3 p.m. then King and Milligan play at 7 p.m. Concord and Milligan will battle each other at 5 p.m. as the Lady Tornado wrap up the regular season home schedule.
