Box Score 2 DUE WEST, S.C. – Following their thrilling victory on Friday, the King University baseball team tried to take the series from Erskine College on Saturday. The Tornado were in great position, leading 6-4 going into the final inning, but the Flying Fleet scored three runs to take the contest 7-6. Erskine then then took game two 28-6.

SERIES HIGHLIGHTS
- Austin Dayton posted four hits on the day, two in each contest while driving in four in the nightcap.
- Ryan Whitt went 4-for-4 and drove in a pair in the opening contest.
- From the leadoff spot, Mark Hencken went 3-for-4.
- Ryan O'Neal also recorded a pair of hits in game two.
GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
- Whitt gave King the lead in the top of the first with an RBI single, but the Flying Fleet answered in the bottom half to even the score.
- King scored one on an error in the top of the second to regain the lead.
- After the Flying Fleet evened the tally at 2-2 with a run in the third, King responded as Hencken drove in Josh Stephens, giving the lead back to King.
- Erskine answered with one in the bottom of the fourth on an A.J. Frabrizio RBI double, and took a 4-3 lead with a Kyle Heiss sacrifice fly in the fifth inning.
- King put up a big number in the sixth as Whitt evened the score with a single that scored Joe Ganger.
- Ryan Sattz followed with a run scoring single and Preston Douglas put King up 6-4 with a double that scored Whitt.
- The score remained the same until the bottom of the seventh when the Flying Fleet offense got going. Heiss drove in one with a double before the Tornado cut down a run a home plate, getting the second out of the inning.
- However, Frabrizio followed with a single that evened the score and Sam Cothran singled through the right side, giving Erskine the 7-6 victory.

GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
- Both offense started out hot in game two as King jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the top of the first.
- Dayton came up with the big blow for the Tornado, lacing a grand slam on the second pitch of his at bat.
- However, the Flying Fleet answered with four runs in the bottom of the frame, highlighted by a Chaz Davey three-run home run.
- Erskine added one in the second to grab the lead, and King evened the score at 5-5 in the fifth inning.
- The Flying Fleet scored one on a Cothran double and another on a wild pitch before breaking the game open in the fifth inning.
- Erskine scored 14 runs in the fifth inning, two on a double from Heiss, two more on a single from Chris Moody and three more on a Chris Rave double.
- The Flying Fleet added seven runs in the seventh and King scored one in the ninth to make the final score 28-6.

FOR THE FOES
- Davey registered three hits in both games, driving in four in the second contest.
- Cothran went 5-for-6 with six runs scored in game two while A.J. Fabrizio went 4-for-7 and scored five times in the nightcap.
- Henry Faunce drove in four in game two for the Flying Fleet.

- King returns to action on Tuesday when they travel to take on Lincoln Memorial University. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
