FERRUM, Va. – The King University women's wrestling team earned a pair of wins on Saturday at Ferrum College. The Tornado cruised to a 33-4 win over Brewton-Parker College before running away with a 40-5 victory over Ferrum.

- King got off to a good start with a pair of forfeit wins at 101 and 109 pounds.
- At 123 pounds, Makayla Welch came up with a technical fall win over Chantal Arellano and Cheyenne Sisenstein followed with another technical fall at 130 pounds over Isabelle Dubois.
- The Barons got on the board at 136 pounds before a pair of forfeits stretched the Tornado lead.
- Nia Crosdale capped the 33-4 win with a pin of Mariah Ramirez in 1:43.

- The Tornado again got off to a hot start as Jaclyn McNichols came up with a technical fall win at 101 pounds over Alisha Elizalde.
- Following a forfeit for the Tornado, King rolled off five straight wins before another forfeit.
- Welch and Briana Kellin earned back-to-back wins by technical fall before Sisenstein pinned Katrina Anderson in 27 seconds.
- Alyssa Aceval followed with another technical fall victory at 136 pounds, giving King a 26-0 lead.
- Following a win by forfeit, Ana Luciano earned a technical fall win over Morganne Flinkstrom at 170 pounds.
- Ferrum took a win at 191 pounds, but King took the win 40-5.
