Box Score BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's basketball team recorded another stellar shooting performance on Saturday afternoon in the Student Center Complex. The Tornado again shot better than 50 percent in their 97-71 victory over Limestone College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half
- The opening 20 minutes were tight in the early going as there were three lead changes and one tie.
- Limestone scored the first five points, but King answered with seven straight to take the lead on a Mike Salomon trifecta.
- King then went on a 9-3 run, capped by a Damion Ottman three-point basket that gave King a 17-11 lead seven minutes into the contest.
- The Saints stayed close until King closed the final five minutes of the half on a 14-1 spurt.
- Justin Frazier started the onslaught with a basket that forced a Limestone timeout.
- Over the final three minutes, King outscored Limestone 9-0, including a James Brown, put-back dunk and triple that came within 10 seconds to give King a 46-28 lead at the break.
Second Half
- The Tornado shooting improved in the second half as they shot 60.0 percent from the floor and 53.8 percent from three in the final 20 minutes.
- As Brown ended the first half, he started the second half with a basket, capping the Tornado run at 11-0.
- The King lead then stayed above 20 points for the remainder of the contest and grew to as many as 38 in the 97-71 victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Jordan Floyd led King with 28 points, leading four scorers in double figures.
- Josh Releford followed with 15 points and three assists while Brown added 14 points and five rebounds.
- Frazier added 13 points and five assists while Ottman added eight points and 10 rebounds.
FOR THE FOES
- Elijah Lockhart led Limestone with 19 points while Ben Gahlert followed with 12 points.
- Chance Prandy added 10 points, six rebounds and seven assists.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- King has shot better than 50.0 percent in six of their last eight games, going 6-2 in that stretch.
