Box Score HARROGATE, Tenn. – The King University baseball team jumped ahead of Lincoln Memorial University early, but the Railsplitters came storming back. Lincoln Memorial scored in nearly every inning to top the Tornado 18-9.

KING HIGHLIGHTS
- King had 11 hits from 11 different players and their five runs batted in came from five different players.
- Connor Andrews and David Carnicella each hit home runs. It was Andrews' third of the year and Carnicella's first.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- King jumped ahead with five runs in the top of the first inning.
- Hunter Barbour came up with a run-scoring double to left, and King capitalized on Railsplitter miscues to score the other four runs.
- Lincoln Memorial answered in the second inning, however, using a pair of home runs to score five of their six runs.
- Sam Mast ripped a three-run home run and Brent Richey hit a two-run round-tripper to put the Railsplitters ahead 6-5.
- Lincoln Memorial added a run in the fourth and two in the fifth on a pair of run-scoring singles to take a 9-5 lead.
- Andrews started the sixth inning with a home run down the left field and Harrison Barger later drove in Bennett McCann with a single, cutting the King deficit to 9-7.
- However, the Railsplitters scored three runs in each of the next three innings.
- Carnicella went deep in the eight and Deric Graham drove in one with a double in the ninth, but it wasn't enough as the Railsplitters took the game 18-9.
FOR THE FOES
- Max Palmieri went 5-for-6, scoring three times and driving in three.
- Mast drove in six, going 3-for-4 with three runs scored.
