BRISTOL, Tenn. – For the second straight season, the King University acrobatics & tumbling team had an individual earn National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) All-Academic honors. Olivia Kincaid garnered that honor this season when the NCATA announced their All-Academic Team on Monday. The NCATA also announced their academic honor roll as 10 Tornado garnered recognition.
Kincaid, a senior from Richmond, Mo., carries a 3.94 GPA in while majoring in Business Management. In two meets for the Tornado in 2020, Kincaid helped King to season-highs in nine of her 11 events. Kincaid competes for the Tornado as a main base in the acro and compulsory events as well as a bridge base in the pyramid events.
Kincaid joins Ashley Berlin as the only two student-athletes in program history to earn NCATA All-Academic honors as Berlin earned that distinction a season ago.
The NCATA Academic Honor Roll with 10 King student-athletes earning recognition. The 10 that were recognized are Madelynn Alyea, Lindsay Bowles, Mattie Brown, Claire Guittard, Kincaid, Alexis Marquith, Jayden Nelson, Hannah O'Dea, Caroline Versluis and Elizabeth White.
All student-athletes with a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average will be honored each year for the NCATA Academic Honor Roll. All letter winners and active members of your roster are eligible for this honor.
