BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Conference Carolinas regular season champion King University acrobatics & tumbling team was well represented when the league announced their postseason awards on Sunday at the conference championships. The Tornado had nine individuals earn All-Conference Carolinas honors, highlighted by Conference Carolinas Athlete of the Year

Along with being named Conference Carolinas Athlete of the Year, Reynolds garnered first team all-conference honors. This season Reynolds was selected Conference Carolinas Athlete of the Week on March 16 and earned Athlete of the Week honors from the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) twice. Those NCATA weekly awards came on February 18 and March 18. The Fairfax, Va., native has helped the Tornado to program-high scores in five different events. In the tumbling open pass she set the school record and has broken it twice since with her best score being 9.925.
Wynn was selected Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year and first team all-conference. She has competed in five different heats for the Tornado as a freshman, helping King set one school record. That came in the compulsory pyramid with a score of 9.90. The Waynesville, Ohio native was selected NCATA Freshman of the Week twice, both coming in back-to-back weeks on February 18 and 25. She also garnered honorable mention freshman of the week on March 18.
Lindsay Bowles was selected first team all-conference. Bowles, a native of Advance, N.C., competes in nine heats for the Tornado, helping King to program-high scores in four heats this season. On March 31 she was selected Conference Carolinas Athlete of the Week.
Jayden Nelson earned first team all-conference recognition. Nelson competes in 10 events for the Tornado and on March 25 she was selected NCATA Specialist of the Week following her performance in the pyramid event. This season the Las Vegas, Nev., native has helped King set program-record scores in five events, including a perfect 10.00 score in the pyramid open heat.
Elizabeth White was selected first team all-conference. The Johnson City, Tenn., native competes in 12 heats for the Tornado, helping King set six program records this season. Two of those school records came in the pyramid event in the same meet, including a perfect 10.00 score in the open heat. She was selected Conference Carolinas Athlete of the Week on March 24 and NCATA Athlete of the Week on March 25.
Claire Guittard garnered second team all-conference accolades. The Connelly Springs, N.C., native competes in 12 heats for the Tornado, helping King register four program records. Two of those school records came in the pyramid event in the same meet, including a perfect score of 10.00 in the open heat. On February 24, Guittard was selected Conference Carolinas Athlete of the Week.
Aarynlee Fritz earned second team all-conference honors. Fritz, a native of Land O Lakes, Fla., competes in eight heats for the Tornado. She has helped King three school records this season, two coming in the compulsory event.
Moira Lyons was selected second team all-conference. Lyons hails from Virginia Beach, Va., competes in 11 heats for the Tornado, helping King set four program record scores. She helped King set two school records in the compulsory event, and two more in the pyramid event, including a perfect score of 10.00 I the open heat.
Hannah O'Dea garnered second team all-conference honors. The Leesburg, Va., native competes in five heats for the Tornado, helping King to a pair of school records. In the compulsory acro heat King scored a school-record 9.50 twice and she helped the tumbling quad pass score an 8.350.
