BRISTOL, - Tenn. – For the third straight year, the King University acrobatics & tumbling team has had an individual be named National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) All-Academic team.
Caroline Versluis was honored this season, and the Tornado had 11 individuals named to NCATA Academic Honor Roll.
Versluis becomes the third Tornado to earn NCATA All-Academic team honors, joining
Olivia Kincaid in 2020 and
Ashley Berlin in 2019. This season, Versluis helped the Tornado to four program-high scores, including the second perfect score in program history. In the classroom, Versluis carries a 3.93 GPA while majoring in Finance and Economics.
The NCATA also announced their 2021 Academic Honor Roll, which includes all Acrobatics & Tumbling student-athletes with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or higher. King had 11 individuals named to the list.
