Bradford selected All-Conference Carolinas

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Alex Bradford had a great season of the King University men's golf team as he earned recognition from Conference Carolinas. Bradford was selected third team All-Conference Carolinas after leading the Tornado all season.

This marks the first time in his career that Bradford garnered All-Conference Carolinas honors. The senior led King with a 72.94 stroke average, posting three top 10 finishes. Of those top 10 finishes, two were in the top five, including one tournament title.

Bradford won of the first event of the fall, the King University Invitational, where he matched a career-low round of 67 in the opening round before carding a 35 in the second round. The tournament was a 27-hole tournament. That was Bradford's first career win. He followed that with his third career top-five finish, taking third at the Warrior classic. In another 27-hole tournament, Bradford shot 75 in the opening round and 34 in the second round.

The Jonesborough, Tenn., native closed the season with another top 10 finish, taking ninth at the Conference Carolinas Championship. At the championship he recorded two rounds under par, shooting four-under 68 in the opening round and two-under 70 in the final round. He finished with a stroke total of one-under 215, the second lowest 54-hole tournament score in his career.
