BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's soccer team earned their seventh straight United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award during the 2020-21 season as the organization announced this week.
The Tornado earned their first award in 2015, and have maintained a team GPA above 3.0 for each of the last seven years. King was one of 220 men's teams across all three NCAA division to be recognized.
College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2020-21 academic year.
