Mason Sanders finished 61st, six seconds ahead of teammate
Jordan Keith to lead the King University men's cross country team at the NCAA Southeast Regional on a chilly morning in Wingate. The Tornado had a total of seven runners compete, with three finishing inside the top 100.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sanders ran a 34:04.46 to finish in 61st.
- Just behind him was Keith, who crossed the line in 34:10.52.
- Josh Booher placed 86th, running the course in 35:04.87.
- Jesus Pacheco finished in 38:10.53.
- Brandon Nunley and Jake Allison finished back-to-back, with Nunley edging Allison by two seconds to place 139th with a time of 42:13.09, with Allison taking 140th with a time of 42:15.86.
- Mason Thomas came across the finish line in 44:18.71.
FOR THE FOES
- Wingate dominated on their home course, taking home the team title with 26 points and four top-10 finishers.
- Joshua Chepkesir won the indivdual title with a time of 31.04.94.
