ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The King University men's golf team opened the spring season with an 11th-place finish at the Spring Kickoff. The Tornado shot 914 and were led by
Samuel Trueba who finished 12th.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trueba opened with a round of 75 before shooting a 73 in the second round on Monday.
- In Tuesday's final round, he shot 76 to finish with a total of 224, giving him a 12th-place finish.
- Åasmund Norum finished 25th, carding a tournament score of 227.
- He opened with rounds of 75 and 78 on Monday before closing with a round of 74 on Tuesday.
- Alex Bradford was consistent, shooting 76 in the opening round before closing with rounds of 77.
- He finished with a total of 230.
- Jeffery Perez came in with a tournament total of 233 after opening with rounds of 78 and 79.
- He closed with his best round of the tournament, shooting 76 in the final round.
- Peyton Perez started the tournament with rounds of 86 and 89 on Monday.
- He finished with a round of 82, giving him a tournament total of 257.
FOR THE FOES
- The University of North Georgia won the tournament with a tournament total of 884 while Lincoln Memorial University finished second at 888.
- North Georgia's Evan Thompson was the individual medalist, shooting seven-under 209.
