Dillow, Powers lead King at Lake Guntersville

GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. – The King University bass fishing team had four boats compete at the Major League Fishing (MLF) Southeastern Conference tournament on Friday at Lake Guntersville. The Tornado tandem of Logan Dillow and Oakley Powers led the way with a 50th-place finish.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Dillow and Powers caught four fish for a total weight of 15 pounds, 10 ounces to finish 50th.
• Tyler Altizer and Dylan Thomson finished with five fish, weighing in at 12 pounds, 15 ounces to take 83rd.
• Landon Lawson and Hunter McClaskey reeled in one fish for a weight of two pounds, eight ounces.
• The final boat of Jacob Lovell and Maddy Phipps failed to catch a fish.

FOR THE FOES

• The duo of Seth Slanker and Jackson Swisher of Florida Gateway College won the event with a weight of 29 pounds, 12 ounces on five fish.
