Bristol, Tenn. —The King University Bass Fishing team competed in the
Major League Fishing (MLF) Collegiate Series on Lake Hartwell, wrapping up another strong showing against one of the largest and most competitive fields in collegiate fishing. Out of more than 250 boats, the Tornado anglers demonstrated skill, perseverance, and teamwork on the water.
Leading the way for King were
Trey Marco and Jake Rowlands, who delivered an impressive
11th-place finish with a total catch of
23 pounds, 6 ounces. Their performance placed them among the top teams in the nation and highlighted the program's continued growth.

As a team, King University continues to make its mark on the national stage. Following the Lake Hartwell event, the Tornado bass fishing program is ranked
18th in the School of the Year standings out of more than 250 colleges nationwide.
