Bristol, Tenn.- Pickwick Lake set the stage on May 21–22 for the 2026 ACA Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops, drawing the top collegiate anglers from across the country for two days of high-stakes competition. Among the field, King University's team of Caleb Dugger and Rhyan Massey represented the Tornado with grit and determination on one of the most challenging fisheries on the schedule.
Dugger and Massey brought one fish to the scales, but it was a quality catch — a 5.97-pound largemouth that anchored their Day 1 effort. While the team finished with a 1/1 limit for 5.97 pounds, the weight showcased their ability to capitalize when opportunity struck, especially on a lake known for fickle conditions and heavy pressure during championship week.
