King duo finishes 67th at Bassmaster College Series

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – Landon Lawson and Hunter McClaskey of the King University bass fishing team finished 67th at the Bassmaster College Series at Norfolk Lake over the weekend.

KING RESULTS: 67th of 208 boats
LOCATION: Norfolk Lake; Mountain Home, Ark.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The duo caught their limit of five fish on the opening day for a total of 11 pounds, 15 ounces.
  • However, on the second day they only caught two fish, finishing with a total of seven fish and 16 pounds, 15 ounces.
  • That gave Lawson and McClaskey a 67th place finish.
FOR THE FOES
  • Beau Browning and Jake Peck of Drury University won the event with 10 fish for a total of 30 pounds, three ounces.
UP NEXT
  • The Tornado are in action again on Friday at the Major League Fishing Northern Conference and Smith Mountain Lake in Huddleston, Va.
