Altizer, Lawson take top 10 at Lake Guntersville

GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. – The King University bass fishing team had a solid day at the University of Montevallo Association of College Anglers (ACA) event last weekend. The Tornado placed two teams in the top 15, including Tyler Altizer and Landon Lawson in the top 10.

KING RESULTS: 9th, 14th, 28th, 53rd of 56 boats
LOCATION: Lake Guntersville; Guntersville, Ala.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Altizer and Lawson pulled in a weight of 16.55 pounds to take ninth.
• The duo of Hunter Barrow and Virginia Foard came in 14th with a weight of 14.79 pounds.
• Dylan Thomson and Trey Marco finished 28th with a weight of 11.83 pounds.
• Caleb Dugger and Thai Tatum finished 53rd with a weight of 2.71 pounds.

FOR THE FOES

• Montevallo had the top two teams, both pulling in over 18 pounds as Miller Dowling and Parker O'Bryan won the tournament at 18.31 pounds.
