BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's soccer team suffered their first Conference Carolinas Northwest Division loss Saturday, falling 3-0 to Converse University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It took until the 10 th minute for Converse to score, as they took the early 1-0 lead.
- The Tornado had a pair of scoring chances in the 17 th minute, as Mackenzie Winters took two shots, one of which was stopped by the goalie.
- Maggie Danroth took a shot in the 38 th minute, but it was turned away, while a follow-up shot by Michelle White hit the post.
- The Valkyries added a second goal in the 67 th minute, pulling ahead 2-0.
- Converse would add a third goal late, extending their lead to 3-0 in the 85 th minute.
- White took another shot in the 88 th minute that sailed over the top of the goal in the last chance for the Tornado.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Winters and Danroth had the lone shots on goal for the Tornado.
- Kristal Garcia had one save on the afternoon for King.
FOR THE FOES
- Kiersten Schrawyer had one of the goals, while Ellie Gore scored twice in 47 minutes of play.
