Jordan Keith set a new personal record Friday evening to lead the King University men's cross country team at the Royals Challenge.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Keith led the Tornado, crossing the line in 26:00.19 to finish 56th, which sets a new personal record.
- Josh Booher came across in 26:42.34, taking 88th.
- Lance Hatcher finished the course in 27:25.88, while Sean Kilpatrick crossed the line in 28:36.66.
- Luke Childress finished with a time of 33:06.91.
FOR THE FOES
- Will Stockley of Milligan University won the race, finishing in 24:30.11.
- Milligan also won the team race, scoring 52 points to win by over 50 points.
UP NEXT
- King will be back at McAlpine Creek Park in two weeks for the Conference Carolinas championships, which are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 21.
