BRISTOL, Tenn. –
Caitlin Paulins of the King University women's track & field team had an outstanding rookie season on campus as she can add another award to her collection. She earned All-Southeast Region honors in the pole vault from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
This marks the second all-region nod for Paulins as she garnered recognition during the indoor season in the pole vault.
During the outdoor season, Paulins set the school record in the pole vault, clearing 3.40 meters at the Electric City Invitational to finish third. She finished fifth at the Montreat College Invitational when she cleared 3.25 meters. She season culminated with a Conference Carolinas championship, clearing 3.24 meters at the outdoor championships.
