BRISTOL, Tenn. – The #3 King University women's wrestling team snapped a two-match losing streak Saturday, winning six bouts en route to a 28-20 victory over #11 Presbyterian College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blue Hose won the first two bouts, before top-ranked Samara Chavez pinned Charlee Shuler in 1:28 to make the score 9-6 in favor of Presbyterian.
- King would win the next four bouts, including Anna DiCugno, who won a pin at 130 pounds, with third-ranked Montana DeLawder winning a decision at 123 pounds.
- Presbyterian won at 143 by forfeit, but each of the next two bouts went to the Tornado.
- Yasmine Kalilliy Oliveira won by pin, beating Isabella Badon in 2:59 to make the lead 24-15.
- #3 Chey Bowman picked up a quick tech fall win at 170 pounds before the Blue Hose won at 191 pounds via forfeit, with King taking the dual 28-20.
