SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The King University women's cross country team competed at the Conference Carolinas Championships on Saturday morning. The team finished 4th in the 13 team field. King's top five runners had their best team average time of the season at 24:41, over a minute faster than they had all season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ermay Vazquez Adame ran the 6K in 23:06.3 for 12th individually. Her finish helped her earn a spot on the All-Conference Second Team. It is also the 11th fastest 6K time in school history and she becomes the 7th fastest individual female in program history at this distance.
- Emily Ward finished in 22nd with a time of 24:24, just one spot away from earning all-conference honors.
- Lexie LaDuc ran an all-time personal best 6K with a 24:32 for 24th place.
- Mandy Lowery (45th – 25:59) and Abigail Brammer (95th – 29:33.1) both ran season PR's.
