Warren Davis while
AJ Drooker had 10 kills on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Set
- King got the first point on a Drooker kill, with the Crusaders taking the next three points,
- King the scored five of the next six points, taking a 6-4 lead.
- North Greenville pulled to within 19-18 off a King service error, but King scored the next three points, moving in front 22-18.
- The Tornado then scored the final three points, with Aiden Olson and Davis getting the final two kills en route to a 25-19 set win.
Second Set
- The Crusaders took an early 7-3 lead.
- King then scored six of the next nine points, pulling to within 10-9.
- The Tornado tied the set at 16 off a block by Drooker and Kellan Kennedy, starting a 4-0 scoring run that saw King pull in front 18-16.
- North Greenville kept the score close, but King used one final kill from Davis to narrowly win the set 25-23.
Third Set
- King held an early 11-8 lead, though the Crusaders tied the set at 14 before taking a 15-14 lead.
- The Crusaders lead reached 19-15, at which point the Tornado scored seven straight points, taking a 22-19 lead on a Drooker kill.
- After North Greenville pulled to within 23-22, King scored the final two points of the set, winning 25-22, taking the match 3-0.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Davis led all players, finishing with 12 kills and eight digs, along with one service ace.
- Aiden Olson handed out 29 assists, also recording six digs.
FOR THE FOES
- Logan Keothavy, Emanuel Adames and Thomas Roper all had seven kills for North Greenville.
- Logan Taylor finished with nine digs and 22 assists.
UP NEXT
- King will be on the road for their next two matches, starting Friday when they play at Barton College.
- North Greenville will play at Belmont Abbey College on Tuesday.
