Andrew Bryant hit two home runs Tuesday afternoon, but an eight-run seventh inning proved to be the difference as the King University baseball team fell to UVA Wise, 16-8 in nonconference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bryant's homer came with two out in the top of the first and gave King an early 1-0 advantage.
- A two-RBI double by UVA Wise saw them take a 2-1 lead, which lasted until the top of the second, where King scored three runs on two hits.
- A bases loaded walk issued to Nick Valentin tied the game at two before Hyatt doubled to right center field, scoring a pair of runs and putting the Tornado back in front, 4-2.
- A Borchardt double in the top of the third extended the lead to 5-2, though UVA Wise would score four runs in the bottom of the inning, taking a 6-5 lead.
- Hyatt hit an RBI single in the fourth, followed by Bryant picking up his second RBI of the day, a ground ball to second base that allowed Hyatt to score.
- UVA Wise then scored twice in the fifth to take an 8-7 lead.
- Bryant hit his second home run of the game to lead off the seventh, but the Cavaliers scored eight in the bottom of the frame, taking a 16-8 lead.
- The Tornado got a baserunner in the ninth, but were unable to score, falling 16-8.

- Morgan Miller was 3-for-5, with an RBI for UVA Wise, while Nick Badgett had two doubles and four RBI.
- Ethan Willis hit a a solo home run and had four RBI on the day.
