Women's Triathlon Opens Season at ETSU

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The King University women's triathlon team finished 3rd at the 2024 ESTU Aquathon on Friday evening, with Lexie LaDuc leading the Tornado, finishing in 19th individually.

LOCATION: East Tennessee State University campus

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Laduc finished the course in 22 minutes flat after competing in the swim and run.
  • Briana Wilson was close behind finishing in 22:21 for 20th place.
  • Elizabeth Rehkopf finished in 24th with a time of 23:56.
  • Jordan Houck made her King debut with a time of 27:42.

FOR THE FOES
  • ETSU won the team competition with a total score of 147.
  • Julia Visgueiro of ETSU was the fastest individual finishing in 18:12.

UP NEXT
  • King will now turn their sights to the Lake Davidson Collegiate Cup, which is scheduled for Sept. 15 at the Trane Technologies Campus in Davidson, N.C.
