FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The King University women's volleyball team was swept in three sets by the Emmanuel Lions on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Set
- The Tornado fell in an early hole but mounted a comeback as a kill from Bailey Fersner gave King a 11-10 lead. However, Emmanuel took the lead back, securing the first set victory 25-16.
- Fersner, Gracia Love, and Capri Johnson each recorded 2 kills in the set.
Second Set
- King again found themselves down early in the second set but an ace from Gabri Puertas gave the Tornado a short-lived lead.
- Princess Emma Oluwa led the Tornado with 3 kills and added an ace of her own.
- The Lions took the second set 19-25.
Third Set
- The Tornado struggled to get the offense going in the third set falling 5-25.

- Ellie Jackson led the Lions offense with 15 kills.
- Sami Gambill had 21 assists and Isabel Miller added 15. Miller also recorded 2 aces.
- Emmanuel also recorded 7 total blocks on the afternoon.
