ABINGDON, Va. – The King University men's swim team opened their 2025 schedule with a 130-59 win over Emory & Henry on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edu Elizaran Galan, Patricio Perezpuebla, Vlad Fedoseev, and Sam Osowiecki opened the meet with a win in the 400 medley relay with a combined time of 3:30.87 – 26 seconds faster than second place. Closing the meet was a win the 400 yard freestyle relay for Oscar Kroos, Osowiecki, Elizaran Galan, and Fedoseev with a time of 3:11.70 – and 18 second victory.
- Evan Hayes won the 1000 yard freestyle, touching the wall at 10:24.56 and was second in the 400 yard IM at 4:47.19
- Kroos and Elizaran Galan went 1-2 in the 200 yard freestyle with times of 1:43.62 and 1:44.08. Perezpuebla and Kroos went 1-2 in the 100 breaststroke.
- Continuing the pattern of 1-2 finished, Fedoseev and Matthew Montenegro-Strunk took top two spots in the 100 yard freestyle before Elizaran Galan and Kross touched the wall first and second in the 100 backstroke.
- Gabriel Noguera won the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:07.23. Coming in behind him were Perezpuebla and Hayes at 5:11.03 and 5:11.13.
- Montenegro-Strunk won the final individual event of the 200 butterfly, touching the wall at 2:02.33.
