Tornado finish 6th at King Invitational

Bristol, TN. – The King University women's golf team wrapped up play at their home tournament, the King Invitational, at the Country Club of Bristol on Tuesday/
 
TEAM RESULTS:
The Tornado posted a first-round score of +36 (320) and a second-round score of +48 (332), for a combined +84 (652) on the par-71 layout. King finished in sixth position out of eight teams from the region.
 
INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS:

• Kate Watanasiripong – 8^th out of 40 | R1: 77 (+6), R2: 75 (+4) | 152 (+10)
• Gloria Capo – T-20^th out of 40 | R1: 81 (+10), R2: 79 (+8) | 160 (+18)
• Joanna Stevens – T-31^st out of 40 | R1: 83 (+12), R2: 87 (+16) | 170 (+28)
• Matilda Svensson – T-31^st out of 40 | R1: 79 (+8), R2: 91 (+20) | 170 (+28)

 
FOR THE FOES:

• West Chester was the team champion, finishing at +28 (596)
• Hanna Lignell of West Chester was the individual medallist, carding E (142)
