Tornado finish 10th at Upstate Fall Intercollegiate

GREER, SC – The King University women's golf team wrapped up plat at the Upstate Fall Intercollegiate, hosted by North Greenville University, at Greer Country Club.
 
TEAM RESULTS:
The Tornado posted a first-round score of +59 (347) and a second-round score of +40 (328), for a combined +99 (675) on the par-72 layout. King finished in tenth position out of thirteen competitive teams from the region.
 
INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS:

• Kate Watanasiripong – T30^th out of 61 | R1: 86 (+14), R2: 78 (+6) | 164 (+20)
• Matilda Svensson – 35^th out of 61 | R1: 82 (+10), R2: 84 (+12) | 166 (+22)
• Joanna Stevens – T40^th out of 61 | R1: 87 (+15), R2: 82 (+10) | 169 (+25)
• Gloria Capo – T51^st out of 61 | R1: 92 (+20), R2: 84 (+12) | 176 (+32)

 
FOR THE FOES:

• Erskine College was the team champion, finishing at +27 (603)
• Lina Lindqvist of Erskine College was the individual medallist, carding +2 (146)
