Bristol, Tenn. – The King University women's volleyball team battled through momentum swings and pressure moments on Friday night, ultimately defeating Barton in a tightly contested five-set match. King controlled the early frames, dropped the third, and rallied late to secure the 25–23, 25–17, 18–25, 25–27, 17–15 victory.
King (6–3, 1–1 Conference Carolinas) hit .246 as a team and posted 67 kills, while Barton (2–7, 0–2 Conference Carolinas) countered with 52 kills on .166 hitting. The Tornado also held edges in digs (81–65) and total points (85–77).
