BRISTOL, Tenn.– The King University men's soccer team delivered a spirited performance before falling 2-1 to visiting Chowan University in Conference Carolinas action at Parks Field. The Tornado rallied with a strong second half and gave their home fans plenty to cheer for in a match filled with drama and determination.
First Half:
Chowan grabbed an early advantage with two first-half goals, but King battled throughout, keeping the pressure on and limiting the Hawks' chances. The first half saw plenty of intensity, capped by a major altercation just before halftime that resulted in red cards for both teams and a pair of yellows for the Tornado, showing the passion and commitment on the pitch.
Second Half:
The Tornado regrouped in the second half, showing resilience and attacking intent. Freshman
James Webb sparked hope for the home side, netting his first goal of the season to pull King within one. The Tornado pushed hard for an equalizer, recording five second-half shots and forcing three saves from Chowan's keeper, Lucas Kibrya, but the Hawks' defense held firm.

- James Webb scored his first collegiate goal and led the Tornado with three shots on goal.
- Jadon Morgan added an additional shot on target, while Eric Swain and Matt Vargas contributed to the attack.
