Triathlon Season Opener at Buccaneer Collegiate Cup

Johnson City, Tenn. – The King University Triathlon team opened their 2026 season at the Buccaneer Collegiate Cup hosted by East Tennessee State University. The team had a strong outing, with Alexis LaDuc finishing 23^rd with her season-opening time of 33:35.37. LaDuc was able to have a strong closing run to push to 23^rd place, passing a Duquesne athlete.
 
Jordan Houck came in next for the Tornado with a time of 39:14.79 in 35^th place.
 
Polly Lounsbury came in 38^th place, finishing with a time of 41:24.08.
 
Hailey Mikel finished with a time of 46:27.48.
 
Up Next: King will be heading to Davidson, North Carolina, next Sunday, September 13^th, to compete in the Lake Davidson Triathlon starting at 7:30 AM.
