BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's tennis team dropped a tight battle with Conference Carolinas rival on Saturday afternoon. Lees-McRae College came away with a narrow 4-3 victory behind three singles wins.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- At No. 2 doubles, the Tornado duo of Haley Maloney and Catherine Vezey took a narrow 8-7 (9-7) victory over Jaden Acklin and Amanda Chapman to get King on the board.
- In singles play, Vezey defeated Acklin 6-1, 6-4 at the third flight.
- Senior Ashley Salazar earned a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Dakota Tittle at No. 4 singles.
- However, the Bobcats took wins at the top two flights and at No. 5 singles to take the dual 4-3.
