TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The King University women's tennis team fell to North Greenville University on Friday afternoon. The Tornado nearly came back in singles play, but fell 5-4 to the Crusaders.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Crusaders took the top two doubles matches, to take a 2-1 lead going into singles play.
- King won the No. 3 doubles match by default.
- In singles play, Jennifer Harr earned a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Hana Hester at No. 4 singles and Morgan Buchanan followed with a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Merit Morgan at the fifth flight.
- The Tornado took a win by default at No. 6 singles, but that was the final win King got as the Crusaders took the dual 5-4.
UP NEXT
- King travels to Southern Wesleyan University on Saturday. The Conference Carolinas dual is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
- North Greenville hosts Lees-McRae College on Saturday.
