FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The King University women's swimming team traveled to Emmanuel College to take on the Lions in a relay meet on Saturday afternoon. The Tornado swam well, but fell to the Lions 202-90.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Madi Matthews, Michelle Morlock and Stephanie Dansie started the day in the 300 yard butterfly relay where the finished in 3:17.76.
- That was followed by Ashley Woods, Brooke Williams and Lynsey Knox who finished the 300 yard backstroke relay in 3:22.47.
- In the 300 yard breaststroke relay, Abbie Erme, Gwen Haag and Josie Gunn finished in 3:55.08.
- The group of Williams, Jayne Wolbert, Morlock and Woods finished the 400 yard freestyle relay in 4:03.86.
- Next was the 500 yard freestyle relay that started with a 50 yard swim followed by 100 yards, 150 yards, and finishing with a 200 yard swim. The group of Matthews, Wolbert, Dansie and Gunn finished in 5:27.17.
- The Tornado had two groups in the 200 yard medley relay. The quartet of Woods, Haag, Morlock and Matthews finished in 2:03.04 while Dansie, Gunn, Knox and Williams touched the wall in 2:06.49.
- In the 1000 yard freestyle relay, Gunn and Woods finished in 11:49.56.
- Next was the 300 yard individual medley relay where Dansie, Erme and Haag finished in 3:24.98.
- The meet concluded with the 200 yard freestyle relay where Williams, Wobert, Morlock and Matthews finished in 1:47.87. The team of Erme, Haag, Knox and Gunn came in at 1:59.59.
