CARY, N.C. - The King University women's swim team finished competition of the Conference Carolina Championships on Friday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Alice Schoemans took sixth place in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:45.57 to open the evening's finals. Derin Yerlikaya finished in 13th with a time of 5:07.10.
- Katie Koenst made the A-Final in the 100-yard butterfly, finishing at 59.82 for seventh place. Liz Candanedo Furio finished at 1:00.19 to take 12th. Koenst also took fourth place in the 100-yard breaststroke with her time of 1:06.54.
- In the 200-yard freestyle, Avery Banes took 16h with a time of 2:04.79.
- Jordan Houck finished 13th in the 100-yard breaststroke with her time of 1:11.72.
- Abigail Hogben won the consolation final of the 100-yard backstroke when she touched the wall at 1:00.66.
- Hogben, Koenst, Reese Lauletta, and Schoemans swam the 400-yard medley relay, finishing sixth with a total time of 4:05.59.
