BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's swimming team had a solid spring in the classroom as they earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team. This marks the fifth time in program history the Tornado have earned this distinction and the fourth straight semester.
The CSCAA recognizing teams that have a 3.0 GPA or higher for the semester. Under the guidance of head coach
James Graves, the Tornado women earned the award for the fourth straight semester while having one of the best seasons in the pool in program history. King posted their highest conference finish in program history, taking third at the Conference Carolinas Championships in February.
In total, 789 programs from 461 institutions were recognized this spring. King was one of six Conference Carolinas members to have the women's team recognized as they were joined by Barton College, Chowan University, Converse College, Emmanuel College and Lees-McRae College.
