BRISTOL, Tenn. – Swimming in their first meet in nearly a month, the King University women's swimming put together some solid performances on Saturday afternoon against Lees-McRae College. However, the Tornado fell to the Bobcats 137-80.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The 200 yard medley relay quartet of Samantha Davis, Abbie Erme, Jamie Edwards and Madi Matthews started the meet with a second-place time of 1:57.00.
- Ashley Woods won the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 11:16.77.
- In the 200 yard freestyle, Michelle Morlock finished third with a time of 2:09.59 while Laura Ayres finished in 2:13.92.
- Matthews won the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 24.92 seconds while Brooke Williams finished second at 26.09 seconds.
- In the 200 yard individual medley, Erme finished in 2:25.10 while Gwen Haag touched the wall in 2:37.35.
- Ayres touched the wall in 2:40.42 in the 200 yard butterfly while Lynsey Knox came in at 2:53.04.
- Edwards won the 100 yard freestyle, finishing in 55.30 seconds. Williams came in with a time of 58.80 seconds.
- Woods finished third in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:23.45.
- In the 500 yard freestyle, Morlock finished third with a time of 6:01.31.
- The Tornado had two divers compete for the first time since the 2013-14 season. Madeline Robison finished the one-meter diving with a score of 392.32 and Claire Guittard scored 329.32.
- Erme finished the 200 yard breaststroke in 2:42.01 with Hagg finishing in 2:50.83.
- The Tornado closed the meet with a 200 yard freestyle relay time of 1:45.11 from the group of Williams, Woods, Edwards and Matthews.
