Sasha Gardiner placed second at the 2021 King Invitational, leading the Tornado to an eighth-place finish at their home tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gardiner started the tournament with a 76, which was among the lowest in the field. She finished the second round with a 79, giving her a tournament total of 155. She has placed in the top-10 in both tournaments she has competed in this season. In her career, this is her sixth top-five finish.
- Tess Larsson also started the tournament on a good note, shooting a 77 in the first round. She finished with an 86 in round two, giving her a 163 total, leaving her tied for 20th.
- Grace Gillen finished tied for 35th, with a total of 171. She shot an 81 in the first round before closing out with a 90.
- Ellie Pittman shot a 180 for the tournament, placing her in 49th place. She carded a 91 in the opening round before closing things out with an 89 in round two.
- Madison Day finished in 58th, with rounds of 112 and 120, giving her a total of 232.
- Aubriana Burger rounded out the King roster, carding a two-round total of 241. She shot a 131 to start the tournament before improving by nearly 20 strokes to card a 110 in the final round.
FOR THE FOES
- Tusculum ran away with the team honors, shooting a 627 to win by 14 strokes. They also had the individual champion, with NIlubol Panno carding a 151 to take the medal.
